This is my space for discussions on writing, with poetry a focus. It is also a place for discussions about how we learn, why we learn, and what we learn.
I want to be able to have active conversations here. I may occasionally post a poem by me or an excerpt by another poet to illustrate my point (and I do have points!).

April 6, Day 6 of prompts
Write a ten-line poem using one of the two following starters:
The door slammed and I thought, So that's all it took... Finally, you see that my love won't turn me into you; that my love is a crystal gift that shouldn't be tossed idly palm to palm the way you skittered us through scheme after crazy dream. Now you know my love is perfectly capable of shattering into slender shards that will slice you.

ReplyDeleteFinally, you see that my love won't turn me into you;

that will slice you.
Thanks Linda! This is well done. I enjoy the interior thinking that builds to a resolution.
